Who Needs a Special Event Permit?
Events on County owned property where:
- Attendance for any type of event is expected to exceed 200 people or impact County services such as police, ambulance, fire departments.
- Sporting events with more than 10 teams.
There is no application fee; however, fees may be charged depending on the facility used and any required County services (i.e. inspections, Police and Fire protection, staff administration, parking, trash removal, field or park rental, etc.). Your County assigned coordinator will help you to determine these fees, based on established service related hourly rates.
