According to NFPA, approximately 61% of firefighters in MD are volunteers.  Protecting communities as the first responders in times of emergency.  We continue that long-standing tradition of community service.
BENEFITS
TRAINING
New and ongoing training is integral to the volunteer fire service.  When you join one of the County's volunteer fire companies, training will be provided through regional training fire academies, local EMS courses, and in-house drills.
GEAR
Dedicate your time and efforts to us and we'll make sure you have the turnout gear necessary to stay safe and get the job done.
