[ARCHIVED] Public Hearing Aug. 8th for Proposed Solar Facility in Millington

The Maryland Public Service Commission will hold a public comment hearing on the application of Jones Farm Lane Solar, LLC to construct a 56.7 MW solar generating facility in Queen Anne’s County. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 6:30pm at the Holiday Inn, 1020 Kent Narrows Road in Grasonville. Members of the public who wish to comment on the matter are welcome to attend the hearing before Public Utility Law Judge Robert H. McGowan.
According to the application, the solar facility will be constructed on approximately 337 acres of property located at 48 Jones Farm Lane in an unincorporated area of Queen Anne’s County. Copies of the application are available for public inspection and copying at: Queen Anne’s County Office of Planning and Zoning, 110 Vincit Street, Suite 104, Centreville, Maryland 21617.
The application has been docketed by the Commission as Case No. 9436. Case filings and associated pleadings in the matter are available in the electronic docket file (9436) which may be viewed or downloaded at www.psc.state.md.us.
