Queen Anne’s County Emergency Operations Center to Deactivate Monday Morning
Queen Anne’s County has deactivated the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026, following the completion of emergency response operations related to the recent winter storm.
With the deactivation of the EOC, County departments will begin transitioning back to normal operations. However, Queen Anne’s County Government offices will remain closed for the day on Monday due to winter weather impacts and ongoing recovery efforts.
The Emergency Shelter located at Centreville Middle School will also close at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026.
While the emergency response phase has concluded, residents are reminded that road conditions may remain hazardous, particularly in shaded areas and on secondary roads. Motorists are encouraged to continue using caution.
Queen Anne’s County thanks residents for their cooperation and extends appreciation to first responders, the crews working snow clean up, and partner agencies for their dedication throughout the response.
The non-emergency storm information line will also be de-activated at 7:00 am. Additional information and updates will be posted to the county social media accounts at @QACGOV and on the website www.qac.org
