Queen Anne’s County Announces Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF) AD-HOC Grant Opportunity
Queen Anne’s County Department of Community Services, through the Local Management Board and the Community Reinvestment and Repair Commission (CRRC), is pleased to announce the availability of funding through the Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF) AD-HOC Grant for fiscal years 2025-2026. This grant aims to support initiatives that benefit low-income communities and those disproportionately impacted by past cannabis prohibition, in alignment with the Maryland Cannabis Reform Act of 2023.
With a total of $170,000 in funding, this grant is designed to foster economic development, community well-being, and social equity through a variety of programs. Eligible applicants include non-profits, community organizations, faith-based groups, and public agencies that serve children and families in Queen Anne’s County.
Priority Funding Areas
Funding will be awarded to projects that align with key community investment priorities, including:
- Mental Health and Harm Reduction – Programs supporting mental health resources and substance use harm reduction.
- Education and Afterschool Programs – Expanding access to tutoring and youth development.
- Housing and Homelessness Prevention – Supporting housing stability efforts.
- Reentry and Reintegration – Assisting individuals transitioning from incarceration.
- Adult Professional Development – Workforce training and skill-building.
- Entrepreneurship and Economic Development – Small business development and financial literacy.
- Nonprofit Training and Management – Supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) community leaders.
- Workforce Development and Training – Career readiness programs.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted electronically by March 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM. All proposals must include a narrative, budget proposal, and required documentation, such as proof of licensing and insurance.
