Sept. 19th Beginning Date of Bridge Closing - MD 213 Over Sassafras River:
Cleaning and painting of the MD 213 draw-span over Sassafras River (at the Kent/Cecil county line) will begin September 19. A public meeting for this project was held in Kent County on June 11; Visit the SHA website for the meeting flyer containing project and detour information.
Next year, the Chester River Bridge closure is scheduled for July 18 through August 12, 2016.
