Queen Anne’s County Department of Community Services Announces 2024 Holiday Trip 

The Queen Anne’s County Department of Community Services invites you to join a festive holiday trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on December 18, 2024. Participants will enjoy an Amish family-style lunch at the Plain and Fancy Farm Restaurant followed by the spectacular 2024 Christmas Show, Joy to the World, at the American Music Theatre.

Trip Details: This special holiday trip will fill your belly and heart with the magic of the season. After a delicious meal, the 2024 Christmas show will transport audiences to a charming small-town America winter carnival, complete with delightful elves, sensational singing, and awe-inspiring music and dance. With phenomenal voices, lighthearted humor, and grand holiday moments, this show promises to be a holiday extravaganza not to be missed.

The trip price of $149.00 per person includes motor coach transportation, lunch, show admission, and all taxes and gratuities. A $70.00 deposit is required at the time of sign-up, along with a completed registration and waiver of release form. Final payments are due by Friday November 15. A minimum of 40 participants is required for this trip.

  • Grasonville Senior Center, 4802 Main Street, Grasonville, MD 21638
  • Sudlersville Senior Center, 605 Foxxtown Drive, Sudlersville, MD 21668

Itinerary (Approximate):

  • 8:50 AM: Depart Grasonville Senior Center
  • 9:30 AM: Depart Sudlersville Senior Center
  • 11:45 AM: Lunch at Plain & Fancy Farm Restaurant
  • 1:30 PM: Depart for American Music Theatre
  • 3:00 PM: Showtime – Joy to the World
  • 5:30 PM: Depart American Music Theatre
  • 7:30 PM: Return to Sudlersville Senior Center
  • 8:10 PM: Return to Grasonville Senior Center

Lunch Menu includes fried chicken, roast turkey, baked ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, chef’s vegetables, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, rolls, apple crisp, pumpkin pie, iced tea, coffee, hot tea, and water.

Participants must be at least 10 years old, and children aged 10-17 must be accompanied by an adult. A volunteer chaperone will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and will attend free of charge.
