The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are actively seeking individuals to fill vacancies on the Property Tax Assessment Appeals Board. There is an immediate need to fill recent vacancies.
Property Tax Assessment Appeals Board
The purpose of the Property Tax Assessment Appeals Board is to hear appeals from the final decision, final determination, or final order of a property tax assessment appeal board or any other unit of the State government or of a political subdivision of the State that is authorized to make the final decision or determination or issue the final order about any tax issue. * Max number of members: 3 members, 1 alternate. No real estate agents, property appraisers or elected officials for submission with a term length of 5 years.
