Have you heard about our Recycle Boat Shrinkwrap Program? We have partnered with MTAM and Plastic Free QAC to reduce the amount of plastic going to the landfill from single use shrinkwrap used to winterize our boats.
Our MTAM dumpster at the Grasonville Transfer Station is already half full! Thank you to all of the residents, marinas and boating companies that have already participated.
If you use single use shrinkwrap to winterize your boat it isn’t too late to recycle it!
You can pick up a FREE recycle back at one of these participating stores:
West Marine, Chester
Rommel’s Ace Hardware, Stevensville
Refill Goodness, Stevensville
Town Hall, Centreville
Once you have your bag, follow the instructions provided to remove, clean and bag your shrinkwrap and take it to the Grasonville Transfer Station and place in the dedicated MTAM dumpster. (Dumpster Available till May 15)
