Liberty Building Temporarily Closed for Training Exercise February 7
The Liberty Building, situated at 107 North Liberty Street in Centreville, will be temporarily closed to the public on Wednesday, February 7, starting at 12:30 PM. The closure is necessary as the building will be the venue for a comprehensive training exercise conducted for our employees. The training session will commence at 12:30 PM and conclude at 4:30 PM.
During this time frame, the Liberty Building will not be accessible to the public. However, we assure the community that normal business operations will resume on Thursday, February 8, at 8:00 AM.
This training exercise is of utmost importance and will involve collaboration with our Department of Emergency Services and Office of the Sheriff. As a result, there will be a visible presence of emergency vehicles at the Liberty Building throughout the training duration.
We sincerely appreciate the understanding and patience of the public as we prioritize the professional development and preparedness of our employees. The Liberty Building, which houses various agencies including Budget & Finance, Human Resources, County Administrators Office, Register of Wills, and the Orphans Court, stands committed to maintaining the highest standards of service.
