Queen Anne’s County Department of Public Works Announces Water Main Repair on Bay City Road and Romancoke Road Intersection
The Queen Anne’s County Department of Public Works is set to conduct repairs on the water main in the vicinity of Bay City Road and Romancoke Road (Route 8) on Monday, January 22nd. Weather permitting, the repair work is slated to begin at approximately 9:00 AM.
During the repair period, the intersection of Bay City Road and Romancoke Road will be temporarily closed. Residents and visitors to Bay City are advised to utilize Irene Way for both entry and exit from the community. Thru traffic on Romancoke Road (Route 8) should not be impacted by the construction but may require a lane shift in the area of the Bay City Road traffic light.
Motorists in the area are urged to exercise caution while navigating through this vicinity due to the repair activity and subsequent detour.
