Water Main Construction on Route 18 to Start Aug 7
Starting on August 7, construction will start on an extension to county water service. This work includes a 3,300-foot extension from Castle Marina Road to Shopping Center Road on Main Street (route 18). This project will promote economic development and enhance fire protection at the shopping center and the surrounding area. The majority of work will be done during nighttime operations (8:00 PM – 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday) to minimize the traffic impacts. The contractor has 6 months to complete the project.
