County Commissioners Seeking Members for Economic Development Commission
The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are looking to fill vacancies on the Economic Development Commission. The deadline for applications May 15, 2023.
Economic Development Commission develops a vibrant economy with the necessary human and business resources to provide the highest quality of life for all residents, while preserving the County’s distinctive cultural and environmental heritage.
The commission also investigates and assembles information pertaining to economic resources, industrial sites and opportunities and disseminates this information by publication, advertising or other means. They periodically survey the over-all condition of the County from the standpoint of determining whether the County has a community climate and furnishes such services and facilities as are conducive to industrial and economic expansion and makes recommendations to the Department Planning and Zoning regarding the development of commercial projects.
