Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • NREMT EMT or Paramedic certification
  • Class C Maryland Motor Vehicle Operator’s License

Required Certifications One Year Post Appointment:

  • NIMS IS Courses: 100, 200, 700, and 800
  • Pro Board Hazardous Materials Operations
  • Advanced Trauma Course 
  • Advanced Pediatrics Course
  • (Paramedic) Advanced Cardiac Life Support
