Residential Scrap Tire Drop-Off Event Set for September 24th
Queen Anne’s County Government in partnership with Maryland Environmental Service and Maryland Department of the Environment is pleased to announce a Residential Scrap Tire Drop Off Day on September 24th from 8:00 am till Noon at the Centreville Transfer Station located at 401 Harper Road in Centreville.
This event is free and provides a responsible alternative to disposal for residents that have accumulated a number of scrap tires.
Up to 10 tires will be accepted per vehicle and there is a limit of one visit per resident. Passenger and light truck tires are accepted. All tires must be off the rims and no commercial vehicles or business tires will be accepted. This event is only open to Queen Anne’s County residents, and we will require proof of residency.
If you are unable to make this event, tires are always accepted at our transfer stations for a fee. Each tire requires one ticket and ticket books (15 tickets per book) can be purchased at several locations for $60.00.
