[ARCHIVED] QAC Rabies Clinic on June 29

Rabies Clinic

Queen Anne's County Department of Health is hosting a rabies clinic for dogs, cats and ferrets on June 29 from 5-6:30pm at the Centreville Health Department on 206 N Commerce Street. There will be a 5.00$ charge and we ask that you bring exact cash or a check along with previous vaccination records if applicable.

Rabies vaccine is good in both adult (over one year old) dogs and cats for three years if they have prior vaccination. Vaccine is good for only one year if the animal is three months to one year old or one year for all dogs and cats with no prior vaccination. Vaccine is good for only one year for ferrets. Animals must be 3 months old before a rabies vaccine can be given. Maryland law requires that each person who owns or keeps a dog, cat or ferret that is 4 months or older shall have them vaccinated against rabies.
