QAC Health Department Expands Testing Operations
The Queen Anne’s County Health Department is expanding testing operations to five days a week starting on Monday, January 10. Testing will be held under a tent in the parking lot of the Health Department in Centreville. Due to the operations being outside under a tent, it is weather dependent. If we must cancel testing, an announcement will be made online at qaccovid.org and on social media @QACDOH, @QACGOV and @QACDES.
If you are experiencing symptoms you should stay home and contact your primary care doctor for treatment options. The Health Department does not provide release letters or treatment options currently. We encourage everyone regardless of vaccination status to continue with social distancing, hand washing and wearing a mask.
We have seen a recent spike in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. In December of 2021 1,791 county residents tested positive for COVID-19 and it was the highest month we have seen throughout the entire pandemic.
COVID-19 Testing will be offered:
Monday - Friday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Call (443)262-9909 to schedule your test.
COVID-19 Vaccination for all eligible age groups will be offered and/or Influenza:
