Queen Anne’s County will Join the State Of Maryland on Friday March 5 Remembering Those We lost to COVID-19
The State of Maryland announced that they will be holding a memorial on Friday, March 5 for those that we have lost to COVID-19. Queen Anne’s County is showing their solidarity with the state by lighting the Liberty Building in Centreville with amber lights.
We encourage our residents to view the State House memorial ceremony live on Governor Hogan’s Facebook and YouTube channels on Friday, March 5 at dusk (6:05pm).
The State of Maryland has lost more than 7,700 residents to the COVID-19 pandemic and 31 of those were Queen Anne’s County residents.
