New Traffic Pattern Coming for Ellendale and Bay Cove Residents
Soon you will notice a new traffic pattern on Kent Manor Drive near the neighborhoods of Ellendale and Bay Cove. The start of the detour depends on weather and we are estimating the detour to take place sometime after Jan. 1, 2021. We have electronic signs in the area that will update you on the detour as soon as it is scheduled to start.
Kent Manor Drive will be realigned to intersect with the new portion of Thompson Creek Connector Road, the name will not change but the road entrance will be moved south to align with the Thompson Creek Connector. To accomplish this, we will need to close a portion of Kent Manor Road from the new Thompson Creek Connector to the entrance of Valero. Residents in these neighborhoods will need to use the new Thompson Creek Connector Road to access Route 8. Detour signs will be placed, and we ask residents to use caution while driving in the area for your own safety and that of our staff.
