
Join us November 15th for a day of listening and learning about how important it is to care for ourselves during the caregiving process. Give Care & Take Care is the theme of the 2019 Queen Anne’s County Maryland Access Point Caregivers Conference. Registration is free for caregivers, adults over the age of 55 and adults with disabilities but pre-registration is required as space is limited. The conference includes free lunch catered by Heartfield’s Assisted Living as well as a continental breakfast sponsored by the Arc of Central Chesapeake.
Speakers include keynote speaker Rhonda Knotts, MCC from Compass Regional Hospice as well as important caregiving tips and discussions on brain health by University of Maryland Extension. There will be a presentation and demonstration on mindfulness from Serenity Enhancement Center.
The November 15th conference runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held at Centreville United Methodist Church 608 Church Hill Road, Centreville, MD.
