[ARCHIVED] County Administrator Todd Mohn Wraps up QAC Commissioners' Meeting


The May 28th regular Commissioners meeting started at 5:15 pm with a 15-minute closed session to discuss Boards & Commissions.

 

BOARD & COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS  

  1. Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee appointments were approved for John Leone, Terry Morris & Mary Ann Skilling
  2. Board of Building Appeals appointment was approved for John Leone
  3. Housing Authority Board appointment was approved for Robert Udoff

  1. 2019 QAC Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan - Resolution 19-04 - This is a resolution that adopts our new plan which was presented last week by Director Scott Haas. - APPROVED
  2. QAC – Beach to Bridge Plan letter – This is a letter to MDOT Secretary Pete Rahn formally requesting closing/restricting left turns from US 50 onto MD 18 in Queenstown to help keep MD 18 free of beach traffic congestion. - APPROVED
  3. MOU for Funding Assistance with a Broadband Feasibility Study – We were selected by the State to receive a grant of up to $60,000 to help with our Broadband strategic plan. -APPROVED.
  4. FY19 Department of Parks Vehicle Replacement – vehicle replacement request for Parks & Recreation to purchase a 2019 Dodge 3500 4X4 pickup for $29,917. - APPROVED
  5. NACO Voting Credentials – 2019 Annual Conference – NO ACTION
