The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners introduced County Ordinance No. 19-09, Tuesday, to enable the use of video cameras on school buses.
The ordinance is “For the purpose of providing for photographic enforcement and administrative adjudication of school bus stop arm violations and imposition of civil fines for those violations, consistent with Maryland state law.”
Before the ordinance becomes law, the county must hold a public hearing (usually at a regular meeting) before calling for a vote.
