Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation will be hosting the Taste of the Matapeake, Food Family Fest on Saturday, May 4, 2019 Noon to 5 p.m. at Batts Neck Park in Stevensville.
“We want to invite food truck and food vendors to contact us to secure a spot for this event,” said Bri Freegard, Recreation Specialist. “Please contact our office for more information at 410.758.0835. This will be an event that the community will come out and meet your neighbors for a tasty, eventful family fun day. Children will have an opportunity to grab some kid friendly food, burn off their energy in our bouncy house and get their face painted while their parents relax listening to local musicians. Folks can purchase tickets online at parksnrec.org for $5 or at the gate for $8. Freegard said, “This is an inaugural event we hope families and local businesses will joins us as we bring the community together for a day of great entertainment, food, beer and wine.”
