NWS has issued a Winter Weather Warning for Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties from 7 pm tonight to 5 pm Thursday. Snow Accumulation of 4 to 7 inches with strong winds.
The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Caroline, Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties in effect from 7pm this evening to 5 pm Thursday. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected. The NWS has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Dorchester, Worcester, Somerset and Wicomico Counties in effect from 1 pm this afternoon to 1 pm Thursday. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are expected.
Queen Anne’s and surrounding counties:
* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on slippery road
conditions, including during the morning commute on Thursday. In
addition, areas of poor visibility are expected. Total snow
accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected.
* WHERE...In Maryland, Queen Annes, Talbot and Caroline
counties. In Delaware, Kent county.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 5 PM EST Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will cause
areas of blowing and drifting snow. Scattered power outages
could develop Thursday and Friday which would force considerable
hardship where heat would not be available.
