QAC Animal Control Seeking Information about an Abandoned Dog in Barclay

Barclay, MD - On 12/15/2017 Queen Anne’s County Animal Control responded to the Barclay Depot store at 1207 Goldsboro Rd in Barclay MD for a report of an abandon dog. Staff inside the store said they were alerted by customers that a dog was found in a pet carrier that had been placed between the roadway and a clothing drop off container at that location. The dog was transported by animal control, examined by a veterinarian, and is now being cared for by staff at the Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne’s County.

If you recognize this dog or have any information regarding his owner, please contact Officer D. Leonard at Queen Anne’s County Animal Control 410-758-2393 or email dleonard@qac.org
