Comfort Quilts for Children Charity Workshop
SUDLERSVILLE - The Foxxi Lady Quilters would like to invite interested persons to our quilting workshop. It is our goal to make seventy, 36-inch quilts. Theses quilts will be donated to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office. The deputies can provide them to children of trauma when responding to 911 calls.
As part of our community service project we are inviting guests to join us. We can use the services of sewers, pressers, quilters and baggers.
The quilting workshop will be held Monday October 17th and Tuesday October 18th
From 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Sudlersville Senior Center.
If you are unable to attend and would like to contribute, please feel free to drop off your completed and clean quilts to the senior center between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, prior to December 6th.
If you have novelty fabric that you would like to contribute, please drop it off at the center during regular business hours.
Seating is limited, and all those in attendance must sign up as a senior center member. Please RSVP to Shelley at 410-438-3159 or swheatman@qac.org prior to October 11th and let her know in what manner you will be helping.
