Queen Anne’s County Commissioners Seek Applicant for Ethics Commission Vacancy
The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are actively seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Ethics Commission. The deadline to apply is August 1, 2025.
The Ethics Commission plays a vital role in upholding transparency and accountability in local government. The Commission:
- Devises, receives, and maintains all forms generated under the Ethics Code;
- Provides published advisory opinions for individuals subject to the code;
- Reviews and determines the outcome of complaints alleging code violations;
- Conducts public outreach on the purpose and application of the Ethics Code.
Queen Anne’s County first adopted its Ethics Code on July 1, 1982. Regular meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at 107 North Liberty Street, Centreville.
