Queen Anne’s County Announces Two Grant Opportunities to Support Youth Programs
The Queen Anne’s County Department of Community Services Local Management Board (LMB) is now accepting proposals for two grant-funded programs designed to enhance the well-being and academic success of local youth: the Out of School Time (OST) Grant and the Partnering For Youth (PFY) Program Grant for the 2025–2026 school year.
These opportunities reflect the County’s continued investment in innovative, high-quality after-school programming that supports children, families, and schools across the county.
Out of School Time (OST) Grant
The OST Grant provides funding for local organizations that offer high-quality after-school programs for students in grades K–12. With a total of $100,000 in funding available, this grant supports programs that foster academic achievement, promote social-emotional development, and provide safe, engaging environments outside of school hours.
Eligible programs may include academic enrichment, STEM and arts-based clubs, leadership development, and family engagement initiatives. Proposals may also request funding for equipment, transportation, and other direct program needs.
Partnering For Youth (PFY) Program Grant
The PFY Grant offers $350,000 in funding for a single vendor to manage and oversee the delivery of the Partnering for Youth Program across seven public school sites in Queen Anne’s County, serving students in grades K–8.
The selected vendor will be responsible for coordinating a comprehensive suite of after-school activities—including STEM, sports, arts, and leadership development—at the following schools: Bayside, Kennard, and Matapeake Elementary Schools, and Centreville, Matapeake, Stevensville, and Sudlersville Middle Schools.
The goal of PFY is to provide structured, affordable, and enriching after-school programming that improves academic outcomes and supports working families.
