The County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 5:40 PM, during their regular meeting to consider County Ordinance #25-03, a citizen-sponsored text amendment submitted by Kaufmann Concepts, LLC. The proposed ordinance seeks to amend the maximum building height for nonresidential structures in the Suburban Commercial (SC) District from 30 feet to 40 feet, excluding telecommunications facilities.

The County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 5:45 PM, during their regular meeting to consider County Ordinance #25-04, a citizen-sponsored text amendment submitted by Bay Manor 21666, LLC. The proposed ordinance seeks to add day-care centers as a permitted use in the Airport Protection and Kent Island Gateway (APKIG) District.

The County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 5:55 PM, during their regular meeting to consider County Ordinance #25-07, a citizen-sponsored text amendment submitted by Thompson Farms LLC. The proposed ordinance seeks to amend the Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) standards to allow a transfer parcel to be subdivided or reconfigured to accommodate building pad sites, perc sites, and lot line adjustments, but not allow the creation of additional lots.
