The Queen Anne’s County Community Partnerships for Children and Families, a Maryland Local Management Board, is looking for citizens interested in serving on its Board of Directors. The Partnership serves as the primary structure in the County to develop and maintain an effective and efficient system of services for children, adolescents, and families. The emphasis is placed on prevention, early intervention, and community-based services.
All interested persons must be residents of Queen Anne’s County, be willing to serve a three-year term, and are expected to attend all board meetings. The board meets on the third Wednesday of the month, except for December, July, and August, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in Centreville. The minimum time commitment is about 90 minutes a month. Members are welcomed, but not required to, spend additional time on projects and committees.
