Queen Anne’s County Planning and Zoning Launches Online Permitting
The Queen Anne’s County Planning and Zoning Department is excited to announce the launch of its new online permit application submission feature as a part of the Citizen Self Service Portal, set to go live on October 21, 2024, at 12:00 pm.
The important enhancement allows residents and businesses to submit permit applications online, significantly improving the permitting process and reducing reliance on paper submissions. This change aims to provide enhanced accessibility and efficiency, enabling users to track the status of their permits easily and conveniently online, as well as pay fees directly through their account on the portal.
The Citizen Self Service Portal will also continue to offer features such as public records searches, access to Zoning and Subdivision Code information, and the QAC Property Viewer, further streamlining the user experience.
“Great news to help create a more efficient and expedited process. While it certainly took longer than expected to be instituted it is great news for contractors and citizens alike” said County Commissioner Jack Wilson.
