March is Pet Poison Prevention Month

Did you know that last year the Animal Poison Control Center received over 351,000 calls! Each year they compile data to examine what types of toxins most pets are exposed to. Here is the first half of that list starting with the most frequent.

Over the counter medications

Food and drink

Human prescription medications

Chocolates

Veterinary products

You can find the full list here https://www.aspcapro.org/resource/top-10-pet-toxins-2023
