Church Hill Park Basketball Courts Closed for Maintenance
The Department of Parks and Recreation announces the temporary closure of the basketball courts at Church Hill Park for maintenance. The closure will be in effect from July 14th to July 21st, subject to weather conditions. During this time, the courts will undergo color coating and lining.
Church Hill Park, spanning 40 acres, offers a range of recreational facilities. The park boasts a picturesque one-mile paved walking trail, providing an opportunity for exercise and leisurely strolls. Its arboretum-like atmosphere showcases a beautiful assortment of trees and flowers, offering a delightful display throughout the year.
In addition to the basketball courts, Church Hill Park features two baseball diamonds and a lighted athletic field suitable for lacrosse, soccer, and football. The park recently installed a multi-purpose artificial turf field in April 2023. The park also features a playground, and a shaded bench nearby.
