Portions of the Kent Island South Trail will be temporarily closed starting April 7th
The Queen Anne’s County Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled major work to be done on the Kent Island South Trail beginning on Tuesday April 7, 2020. We are asking citizens to avoid the use of the trail during this time; parts of the trail will be closed temporarily. On April 7, 2020, our contractor will be milling portions of the trail in preparation of the trail to be repaved. Weather permitting paving operations will begin the week of April 13 – 17, 2020. Please be considerate of the major work taking place. For safety sake, please respect the closure of the trail.
