QAC Aging and Transportation

Greetings, wonderful residents of Queen Anne’s County!

Welcome back to another edition of our Aging and Transportation Newsletter. We're excited to reconnect with you this month and continue our journey of keeping you informed and engaged. As the weather begins to change, so do our activities and events! Get ready to explore what March has in store, from exciting outings to invaluable resources. Let's make this month one to remember!

March Highlight:

March is National Nutrition Month, a time to celebrate and promote healthy eating habits and physical activity. Join us in congratulating the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics on their 50th Anniversary of National Nutrition Month! During this month we invite everyone to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful habits. The Area on Aging is here to support you in your nutrition goals. If you haven't already, check out our Nutrition Programs or give us a call at 410-758-0848.

Important March Announcements:

  • The County and all Senior Centers will be closed on Friday, March 29, 2024, for Good Friday.
  • March 18th is National Transit Driver Appreciation Day! Let's give a big shout-out to our amazing County Ride Bus Drivers for keeping us moving with smiles on our faces. Don't forget to give them a special thanks for all their hard work and dedication!
