Batt's Neck Park In-Line Hockey Rink Closure for Paving and Upgrades

The in-line hockey rink at Batt's Neck Park is set to undergo maintenance and upgrades, necessitating a closure starting on Tuesday, September 5. The closure is part of a broader effort to enhance the in-line hockey rink in the coming months.

Batt's Neck Park, a 45-acre recreational haven, offers a variety of multipurpose athletic areas. These amenities include soccer fields, football fields, and lacrosse fields, as well as a baseball/softball diamond.

In addition to the upcoming upgrades to the in-line hockey rink, Batt's Neck Park recently welcomed a state-of-the-art multi-purpose artificial turf field, which was installed in April 2023. This versatile field is designed to accommodate a range of activities, including football, field hockey, unified lacrosse, and soccer, providing even more opportunities for athletic engagement within the community.

For those seeking a more serene recreational experience, the park offers two picturesque ponds and a well-equipped playground.

Batt's Neck Park is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring paved trails that lead to the playground, parking lot, and restrooms, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the park's offerings.
