Queen Anne’s County Department of Community Services Area Agency on Aging Presents the Maryland Access Point 2022 Caregivers Conference “Care to Prepare and Prepare to Care”

This year’s conference will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 9:00 am. The event will be located at the Kramer Center, 104 Powell Street in Centreville, MD.

 

The agenda for the event includes:

 

Welcome: Catherine Willis, LMSW Director of Queen Anne’s County Community Services, Anne Van Benschoten Community Care Administrator, and staff from the Queen Anne’s County Area Agency on Aging

Pre-Planning a Funeral: Ryan Helfenbein of Fellows Helfenbein Newman Funeral Home. Owner, Certified Pre-Planning Counselor, and Undertaker.

Understanding & Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior: the Alzheimer’s Association

Managing Money-Caregivers Guide to Finances: the Alzheimer’s Association

Healthy Meal: Cheryl Bush, MS, RDN, LDN, The Maryland Extension Office

Craft: Ann Martin, Manager Grasonville Senior Center
