QAC Seeking Citizens to Serve on Boards & Commissions


 
The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are looking for citizens in District 2, to fill two vacancies on county boards and commissions. The deadline for applications will remain open until filled.   

 

District 2 geographically is found in the central part of Queen Anne’s County and consists of Centreville, parts of Queenstown to the south and up to Church Hill in the north.

 

Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee, consists of 7 members, serving a 3-year term, appointed by the County Commissioners, with 1 member representing each of the 4 election Districts and 3 additional members. There is a currently a vacancy for the member representing district 2.

 

Broadband Advisory Council consists of up to two residents residing in each of the 4 voting districts, one from the broadband industry. There is currently a vacancy for a member representing district 2.
