We Need Your Help with a Survey about Connectivity to Businesses and Farms
Queen Anne’s County is working to gather information from our businesses and farms about connectivity in rural areas. To help us with this we are asking that you answer some questions. The purpose is to gather information that can be used for grant opportunities as well as provide us with supportive information for recommendations of expansion of broadband. In order to gather as many responses as possible, the survey will remain open through January of 2021.

Broadband can mean different things to everyone but has recently been defined to be a connection where you get a speed of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload. Most using a wireless connection (Verizon and other cellular are global) are not typically getting those speeds.
For our purposes rural areas can include anywhere in Queen Anne’s County where connectivity is limited or does not exist.
