A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held Friday night at Queen Anne's County High School celebrating the newly installed artificial turf field. The County Commissioners and staff were joined by our state representatives, staff from the Board of Education, and school athletes. The county has a joint use agreement with the Board of Education and the field will be owned, operated, scheduled and maintained by QAC Parks and Recreation. Groups interested in renting the field should contact Jmiller@qac.org. The field is lined for five different sports: football, soccer, field hockey, women’s lacrosse and men’s lacrosse.
