County Commissioners vote Todd Mohn as new County Administrator
Centreville – The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners named Todd Mohn as the next County Administrator. The appointment came following a motion by commission president Jim Moran, which was approved by a unanimous board vote, at the beginning of the February 26 county commissioner meeting. His first official day as county administrator will be March 18.
Mohn is currently the director of Public Works a position he has held since 2008. His first assignment will be to fill his former post. Prior to his tenure as director he served as deputy director, chief roads engineer and as a civil engineer spanning the last 27 years. Mohn is a registered professional engineer in Maryland and a graduate of Purdue and Penn State universities.
“I am truly honored and looking forward to this new opportunity where I can use my experience and local knowledge to continue serving the citizens of the county”, said Mohn. The county is in very good shape, thanks to my predecessor, and we are fortunate to have a very talented group of Directors and senior staff. Mohn was recommended by outgoing County administrator Gregg Todd as the “clear choice” to assume his former post.
