In Queen Anne's County, the pace embraces an easy rhythm and

hospitality is offered as naturally as the tides ebb and flow.

The exquisite Chester, Wye, and Corsica rivers beckon recreational boaters and sportsmen to hunt, fish and crab.  Workboats glide out of fog-shrouded marinas at dawn and spectacular sunsets complement some of the finest waterfront dining in the region.  Nature takes center stage on the shorelines and in the fields as various Audubon species pass through on the Atlantic Flyway providing opportunities for bird watching as well as goose and duck hunting.

Queen Anne's County is one of the oldest sites of colonial settlement in the nation.  Our residents have been farming the land and harvesting the bounty of the water since the early 18th century.  Farms here today lead the state in production of corm, wheat and soybeans.  Watermen carry on the proud tradition of providing fresh seafood for our fabulous restaurants.  Small towns and communities throughout our scenic landscape welcome you to shop and tour lovingly restored historic sites.
