Midshore Regional Recycling Program - What We Do

• We have approximately 40 "Igloo" drop-off Recycling Stations in Caroline, Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties, serviced by Queen Anne's County for the MRRP Program
• Support (partially) Kent County's County-wide Curbside Program
• For sites other than the Midshore Landfill (where fees cover cost):
• CFC Removal from Appliances
• Tire Disposal
• Yard Waste Grinding
• Market Recyclables and coordinate cooperative hauling
• Coordinate with Izaak Walton League scholarship efforts
• Marlborough Plaza and St. Michael's paper collection
• Share AutoZone site with Chesapeake Development Unit
• Education and Outreach
• Landfill & Recycling Center tours
• In-school programs
• Magic of Recycling
• Grants to Municipalities
• Start-up costs for towns' curbside, school projects, etc.
• Coordinate HHW Program since 1998 (with MDE, MES...)
