Midshore Regional Recycling Program - What We Do
- We have approximately 40 "Igloo" drop-off Recycling Stations in Caroline, Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties, serviced by Queen Anne's County for the MRRP Program
- Support (partially) Kent County's County-wide Curbside Program
- For sites other than the Midshore Landfill (where fees cover cost):
- CFC Removal from Appliances
- Tire Disposal
- Yard Waste Grinding
- Market Recyclables and coordinate cooperative hauling
- Coordinate with Izaak Walton League scholarship efforts
- Marlborough Plaza and St. Michael's paper collection
- Share AutoZone site with Chesapeake Development Unit
- Education and Outreach
- Landfill & Recycling Center tours
- In-school programs
- Magic of Recycling
- Grants to Municipalities
- Start-up costs for towns' curbside, school projects, etc.
- Coordinate HHW Program since 1998 (with MDE, MES...)
The Midshore Regional Recycling Program is a cooperative
partnership by and between the Maryland Counties of Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne’s
and Talbot.
