Administrator's Office

The Office of the Queen Anne’s County Administrator provides oversight to all the operating departments and agencies in the county, as well as the staff of the county commissioners office and the Chief Operating Officer.

The County Administrator provides direct support and assists the Board of County Commissioners in setting policy, guidelines and programs relating to immediate issues, as well as assisting with planning long range goals for the county.

The County Administrator serves at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners and may serve as a representative of the Board in communications with officials in other counties, as well as with local, state or federal agencies.
