Upper Shore Mental Health Board
The Board of Trustees originated from the Certificate of Need group to open the Mid-Shore Mental Health Facility. The Board exercises the power of the Corporation, controls its property and conducts its affairs. It also appoints necessary committees; arranges for the raising of funds to support the Corporation; establishes general policies for any mental health service program; approves the annual operating budget; employs and authorizes employment; enters into agreements with government or philanthropic agencies and exercises the duties of a citizens’ advisory board. Queen Anne’s County appoints two of fifteen board members and one additional member from the County is appointed by the Board. Name Date Appointed Term/Expiration
