License Commission (Liquor Board)
The Liquor Control Board held its first meeting in Queen Anne’s County on June 1, 1953 and is regulated by Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland. The Board is responsible for reviewing alcoholic beverage license applications, issuing licenses, license renewals, enforcement of laws, and printing, publishing and updating alcoholic beverage regulations. They meet the first Tuesday of every month in the conference room at the Coursevall Drive office of the Department of Land Use, Growth Management and Environment.
