In operation for 40 years, they are the second generation to live and farm here since its purchase 60 years ago. Through genealogical study we have found that the Dodd Family has been farming in Queen Anne’s county since the 18th Century (Revolutionary War). Tradition is carried on by raising their our own beef, pork and chickens naturally. Antibiotics are not used in the feed, steroids or growth promotants of any kind. The cattle graze on pasture year round and are supplemented with hay and sweet corn silage during the winter. The hogs are fed produce in season, forage, ground corn, soybeans and minerals for healthy development. The chickens are free range. The Dodds believe that with all the health concerns in recent years that they can provide a healthy alternative to the meats & eggs found elsewhere.
