Queen Anne’s County Department of Housing and Community Services is currently accepting applications for the
Neighborhood Conservation Initiative/Critical Workforce Program

SIMILARITIES

Up to $50,000 zero percent, deferred payment loans.

DIFFERENCES

Applicants may make up to 120 percent of the median income for the Baltimore Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Applicants may make up to 80 percent of the median income for the Baltimore Metropolitan Statistical Area.

A family of four can make up to $102,700 and still qualify.

A family of four may not make over $64,400.

Loan is available to qualified CWF applicants.

Loan is available to qualified CWF/FSS applicants.

Must be a first-time homebuyer

Does not have to be a first-time homebuyer, but cannot own another home at the time of application.

Home must be foreclosed

Home does not have to be foreclosed

Home must be located in Stevensville, Grasonville or Church Hill

Home can be located anywhere in Queen Anne’s County

Applicant must take 8 hours of Housing Counseling from a HUD-Certified Counselor

Applicant does not have to take Housing Counseling (although it is always a good idea!)
