Mission

Precepting

The Precepting process for ALS and BLS providers is designed to allow new providers the opportunity to practice their newly developed skills under the direction of a Queen Anne’s County field preceptor, and experienced providers that are new to our area, or have been away for a period of time, a chance to become acclimated to the Queen Anne’s County system.

All providers wishing to precept within Queen Anne’s County must have a valid MIEMSS affiliation with a Queen Anne’s County station or prior approval from the Queen Anne’s County Quality Assurance Committee.

All ALS providers must have prior approval from the Jurisdictional Medical Director.

If you have any questions regarding the precepting process, please direct them to a member of the Quality Assurance Commitee prior to begining the precepting process.

Provider Review

Queen Anne’s County is dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible to its citizens and visitors.  While we do conduct routine patient care reviews, we also count on you to report actions that you feel warrant a Quality Assurance review. If you see something that you feel should be reviewed, please complete the Quality Assurance Investigation Request and return it to a member of the Queen Anne’s County Quality Assurance Committee.
