How to Start a Business

Owning your own business is the dream of many people and many successful businesses start out small or as home-based business and grow from there.

This checklist is designed to help simplify the process of starting a business in QAC, a basic outline of the steps to take and things to consider. It is not intended to be comprehensive and all-inclusive. It is not intended as legal advice, you should contact an attorney, accountant and other professionals as necessary to protect yourself and your personal assets.

Federal/State regulations and other legal requirements are constantly changing and there may be other obligations specific to your business type not covered here.

For more in-depth information please refer to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Small Business Planner site
